Effective July 1, 2022, Indiana House Bill 1296, “Indiana Permitless Carry,” repeals the law that requires a person to obtain a license to carry a handgun in the state.

Senate Bill 1262, signed by Governor Brad Little on February 25, 2022, will go into effect on July 1, 2022.
