After avoiding a reckless driver, our member Joyce thought the worst was over. She soon found out the worst was just beginning. From phone calls with police detectives, to answering her door with a SWAT team gun directed at her face, Joyce had to face the ugly side of our criminal justice system. Watch our video to find out how U.S. & Texas LawShield was able to assist Joyce.
Law-abiding gun owners should never have to fear arrest and prosecution. Unfortunately, in today’s America, even the most upstanding armed citizens can and do find themselves at the mercy of a hostile system. Protect yourself. Become a U.S. LawShield member now.
Awesome, so glad we are lifetime members
Please let your readers know what, if anything, happened to the aggressive driver who lied to law enforcement regarding Joyce M’s. alleged behavior on October 5th. Surely the Grand Jury’s No Bill would buttress Joyce’s ability to proceed with a civil action against the driver.
This seems to be a frequent occurrence where the bad guys call the cops, lie, and the innocent become guilty.
What should she have done to not even get to this point of arrest?
What happened with the false accuser? Is there civil recourse if I lost my job or couldn’t get hired again because someone googled my name and they find I’ve been arrested?
So what’s ‘the rest of the story’? Was her arrest expunged? Was the other driver cited for filing a false police report? Or, better yet, sued?
Sounds likw San Antonio, swat
That’s all well and good, But They all need to be sued period. And the chooches meaning (in English Jackasses) need to know that the horn ,even though it was she, does not stop a car the brakes do period.
Interesting. Story doesn’t make sense though. How did the other woman know you had a gun? Are you sure that you didn’t show it as you backed up for your escape?
This is what America has come to. Hello !!!! is anyone awake ?
What recourse for the false accuser?
It’s incidents like this that make me think my monthly payment to US Texas Lawshield is money well spent.
It’s a shame. We live in the society where one can get accused and even though she was innocent. If she didn’t have Texas Law shield she probably would of still been locked up for false accusations. I’m so sorry you had to go through this nonsense.
So assuming absolutely everything went down as Joyce described, while I would still be thankful to have things resolved in the manner in which her situation was:
What of the other driver? No legal action against this person for filing a false report? No damages for Joyce for time spent defending herself and the situation she was forced to endure?
Sooooo… what? They just dropped the case? What happened to the lying bitch that made up the story and started all this. Is she being charged for wasting tax payers money?
How can 1 person’s story turn into swat knocking at your door with no investigation, nothing.
Since when are people arrested without any true evidence?
Of course, if the woman’s story is completely true, how does the other person even know she had a weapon? If it were resting in her lap and she left prior to the woman coming near her vehicle… again, how would the other person know a weapon existed?
She might not have shot the weapon but she had to have made it clear that she had a weapon. If she, truthfully, showed it to the other resin, she has violated the law.
Still, the police should have tested the weapon to see if it had recently been discharged.
Incredible story! Even more incredible that this case proceeded the way it did. Another great reason for carrying US and Texas Law Shield coverage!
When involved in a road rage incident, call 911 ASAP and report you have been a victim in a road rage incident. The first one to call seems to be the one believed. The Law Shield attorney should be called for advice at the earliest moment possible if arrested.
I went through a situation like Joyce did. In the future, I will call the police immediately and Texas Laws Sheild to protect myself.
Glad for the happy ending. However, the lesson to me is to make sure I’m the first one to call 911. This nice lady never said that she did that.
I would hope that the woman who made the wrongful complaint would be sued I civil court as we as the police or swat team
What she did wrong she should have called 911 and then later went by the police station and made her report clearly the woman that made the complaint was a felon
You have got to tell your story as well she should have also called texas law shield immediately and informed them
This mess should have never happened and it would not have if the victim would have done her due deligence
Surely this can’t be the whole story? Certainly something like this cannot happen in the United States of America? Or even in the United States of Texas?
What is the Truth here?
Wow~!
